Upper Room Global Prayer Movement

The Rise of the Remnants

Help us test Upper Room Connect at Essen 2026.

Upper Room Connect gathers the whole of the conference into one place, so that the programme, the practical questions and the things you would like to carry home are never something you have to go looking for. Before we open it to everyone, we are asking a small group to use it across the three days and tell us honestly how it served them.

This round is limited to a small group, and we take names in the order they arrive.

All 1000 places are taken. You can still join the waitlist below.

Take a place in the pilot

What it is for

Our conviction

Upper Room has always made room for prayer, for worship and for the teaching of Scripture, and nothing we build should stand between a person and any of it. Upper Room Connect exists to carry the practical weight of a three day gathering, so that attention is free for the room itself.

While a session is running, the app holds everything back. There are no notifications and no reminders during worship, preaching or ministration, and whatever has been waiting is released afterwards, in the gaps between sessions where it is genuinely useful.

We are committed to building something that serves the gathering rather than competing with it, and we would far rather it did less than have it draw a single eye away from the presence of God.

What we are asking of you

We would like to be honest about what this is. Upper Room Connect is still being built, and across the pilot some parts of it will be rough and one or two may not work at all on the first morning. Finding those things is the reason we are asking for your help, and telling us about them is the most useful thing you can do.

Questions

What happens next, and when?
A confirmation email will reach you straight away. On Monday 10 August we will send your personal access link, together with instructions for adding the app to your home screen, and there will be one short reminder on Thursday 13 August, first thing. That is three emails in total, and then we are out of your inbox.
Will it cost anything?
No. The app is free, there is nothing to buy inside it, and we will never ask you for card details.
What data do you collect, and why?
We collect four things and nothing more. Your name, so that we can greet you properly. Your email address, so that we can send your access link and the two reminders. Your country, because the app shows the nations gathered in the room and we would like to know how far this pilot reached. And the type of phone you use, so that the install instructions we send are the right ones for it. None of it is shared or sold, and the privacy notice sets it out in full.
Can I change my mind?
Yes, at any time and in one click. Every email we send carries a withdraw link that works without logging in to anything, and using it stops us immediately. You can also ask us to delete everything we hold about you.
What if the places are full?
You can still leave your name and we will add you to the waitlist. Places do open up as plans change, and we work down the list in the order it was written.
Do I need to install anything?
There is nothing to download from an app store. Upper Room Connect opens in your browser, and you add it to your home screen where it behaves like any other app. On an iPhone that is Share and then Add to Home Screen. On Android it is the browser menu and then Install. The email we send includes pictures for both.
